You can now use Clubcard points to pay for pints at Brewdog’s bars

  • Club card members can redeem points at Brewdog bars across the UK
  • Each 50p voucher can be converted into £1 to spend in bars

Beer giant Brewdog has announced a partnership with Tesco Clubcard, allowing customers to redeem points for pints at its bars across the UK.

The Scottish brewery, along with the Chef and Brewer and Hungry Horse pubs, offer deals for Clubcard members, but Brewdog is the only brewery to exchange pints for points.

Each 50p voucher can be converted into £1 to spend in Brewdog bars. This means you can buy a drink for 300 Clubcard points.

Customers can top up the price difference with another payment method, giving Clubcard members with 150 points a 50 percent discount on pints.

The reward codes can be used for a maximum of two alcoholic drinks – excluding beer towers – and, above all, only when purchased with food.

If you order three drinks with your meal, you will have to pay for one of the drinks. Codes can also be used unlimitedly on all non-alcoholic drinks.

The value of the codes can only be redeemed for food and drink, so customers cannot use their Clubcard points to purchase Brewdog merchandise, gift cards, bar experiences or hotel stays.

They also cannot be used in conjunction with any Brewdog offers or discounts and only apply to bar food.

Brewdog founder James Watt said: “With an existing customer base of over 21 million active Clubcard members, we are delighted to be the only restaurant partner to offer pints in return for points.”

“Everyone is feeling the pressure on the cost of living. So if we can help people with the cost of our beer wherever possible, you can bet we will.”

Rewards codes can be used at all Brewdog bars except Edinburgh Airport, Hull, Huddersfield, Bradford and Upminster.

Customers cannot use Clubcard points between December 13th and 31st, or in Edinburgh during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
