“Young Rock” Season 3: Dawnn Lewis cast in a recurring role [PHOTO]

young skirtthe NBC comedy centered around WWE legend Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, is adding another GOAT to its cast for Season 3 (currently Fridays at 8:30 p.m. ET).

Veteran actress Dawnn Lewis will reprise her role as Prime Minister Angela Honig in the 2033 timeline, TVLine has exclusively learned. The network also released the first photos of Lewis in his role, which you can check below.

Honey, the newly elected leader of coffee-rich Gjelghiughm, is described as a “strong leader and tough negotiator, although her longstanding love of professional wrestling could be key to finding common ground in an ongoing diplomatic crisis.”

Lewis will make her debut as Honey in Episode 4, titled “Night of the Chi-Chis,” which airs Friday, December 2nd. Teenage Dwayne, set in 1988 Bethlehem, is “locked up overnight with his father when Rocky agrees to dry-clean a restaurant,” according to the official synopsis. Meanwhile, in 2033, Dwayne “feels nostalgic for an old arcade game he finds far from home.”

Lewis currently stars as Captain Carol Freeman on the animated series Paramount+ Star Trek: Lower Decks.
