‘Zorro’ star butchered for daring to propose Tom Holland as his replacement

Hollywood has made a concerted effort to move away from its long-held and historically unsavory practice of glossing over certain roles, and so it came as a surprise when none other than Antonio Banderas suggested London-born Tom Holland as the perfect candidate to play him in one potential to replace Zoro Legacy Sequel.

The two continued to work together Unexploredand while Spider-Man of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is a well-loved star who is equally comfortable tackling both action and drama, it would be an understatement to say that the prospect of starring him in the next iteration of the legendary Swashbuckler bunny played wasn’t exactly well-received.

Of course, we should point out that there are currently no plans for a trilogy-enveloping sequel to the classic opening installment or its lukewarm sequel, but it’s nonetheless become crystal clear that the social media crowds would rather have their Zorro a little more specific.

That’s no blow to Holland, but you can only imagine the backlash and firestorms that would follow if Sony announced its crown jewel Spiderman and Unexplored famed for following in Banderas’ smoldering footsteps as a sword-wielding folk hero. While it almost certainly won’t happen, history has taught us that you can never really rule out Sony making the dumbest decisions imaginable.

Would we like to see Banderas return as Zoro for one last stand before passing the torch to someone else? Possibly while it’s closer mask as Legend. Do we want Tom Holland to be that person? Absolutely not.
